「ビルケンシュトック（BIRKENSTOCK）」が、横浜エリア初の直営店をルミネ横浜にオープンした。
同店はビルケンシュトック9店舗目となる直営正規店で、日本のマーケットに向けた新しいストアコンセプトを取り入れたインテリアを配置。大谷石や木材、フェルトなど天然素材を多く使用し、ブランドの伝統や品質を表現した。また、店内にはブランドの全モデルに適用されている独自のインソール「フットベット」を成形する際に用いるコンポーネントに触れることができるコーナーを設置している。

店頭では、人気シリーズを幅広くラインナップするほか、昨年10月に立ち上げた足に特化したコスメティックライン「CARE ESSENTIALS」も展開。オープンを記念して2万2000円以上の購入者に横浜の街のイラストをあしらった数量限定のオリジナルトートバッグを配付する。
