アーティストのダニエル・アーシャム（Daniel Arsham）の個展「31st Century Still Lifes」が、ペロタン東京で開催される。期間は8月26日から10月15日まで。
ペロタン東京で2度目となる今回の個展では、アーシャム自身の立体作品や図像を題材にした3つの作品シリーズを展開する。
ADVERTISING
メインギャラリーでは、インパスト（厚塗り）技法を駆使した新作の静物画5点が並ぶほか、「アマルガメイテッド・シリーズ」より古代からルネサンス期までのアイコニックな彫刻へのオーマジュであるブロンズとステンレスを組み合わせた新作の彫刻2点を展示する。また隣のギャラリーでは、「フィクションとしての考古学（fictional archaeology）」シリーズから、「E.T.」や「バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー」「2001年宇宙の旅」といった映画ポスター3点を用意。ポスターは、アーシャムの作品を特徴付けるハイドロストーンやブルーカルサイト、クォーツクリスタルといった地質学的素材用いて制作された。
